He will serve in the position for about five years and, like almost all clergy in his church, will be unpaid. When asked why he would take a job that required an average of 25 hours per week to add to his law practice and family responsibilities, Chip replied, \u201cThis is not the kind of job you campaign for, or apply for, or even volunteer for. When the call comes, you accept it with full heart because it\u2019s part of being a disciple of Jesus Christ. If I\u2019m going to call myself a Christian, I have to accept the call regardless of whether it\u2019s inconvenient or hard.
