What is Pinwheels Dayz?

Exchange Family Center’s Pinwheels Dayz brings together families, friends, and the greater community to generate awareness about the importance of supporting families and teachers to help children be resilient.

“When families spend time together, the interaction increases children’s social-emotional growth and strengthens family bonds,” says Rachel Galanter, Exchange Family Center Executive Director. “Pinwheels lets families come and play together to help build those strong bonds that support children’s ability to be resilient while also sharing information with the community about how we all can help children thrive now and as they grow.”

Pinwheels Dayz engages our community to support children and families in need while providing a family-friendly environment. They want families and children to enjoy a month full of activities, games and fun.
