RALEIGH, NC – Raleigh police officers were dispatched to a fatal car accident early Thursday morning, CBS17 reported.
A vehicle crashed on the 3300 block of Trawick Road near the intersection with Marsh Creek Road, according to police. Officers arriving at the scene at about 1:30 a.m. found the car overturned and the only occupant of the vehicle dead at the scene. No details were released on the victim’s identity.
The cause of the fatal wreck remains under investigation. Trawick Road was shut down near the scene while police and emergency crews responded, and drivers were advised to find alternate routes.
