
RALEIGH, NC – Police have released information on a car accident that occurred at a nail salon in the Village District of Raleigh on Tuesday afternoon.
According to a WTVD report, the incident took place at about 3:20 p.m. at the Village District Nail Spa on Cameron Street. Police said a driver, described as an older woman, drove her SUV through the front windows of the business.
One worker inside was reported to have suffered minor injuries, but no one else was hurt. CBS17 reports firefighters rescued the driver after she was trapped inside her vehicle.
Raleigh police were called to the scene of the crash, which remains under investigation. Crews also responded to remove the SUV from the building.
