DURHAM COUNTY, NC – Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a truck accident along N.C. Highway 751 early Tuesday morning, CBS17 reported.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol said a tractor-trailer went off the road and overturned at about 3:30 a.m. in the vicinity of O’Kelly Chapel Road, near the Durham-Chatham County Line. The truck driver suffered minor injuries in the wreck.
The highway was shut down in both directions for several hours while crews attempted to clear the scene and get the truck upright. State troopers said a slight spill resulted from the overturned tractor-trailer, but no materials were considered hazardous.
