RALEIGH, NC – A motorcycle crash in Raleigh last week left a rider seriously injured, reports WRAL.
The motorcyclist, identified in the report as Jeramy Champion, was headed to work Tuesday morning sometime before 8:30 a.m. when the accident occurred on New Bern Avenue. The bike ended up on the grass near the road, with a dump truck parked a few feet away.
Champion was rushed to an area hospital, where he was undergoing treatment for serious injuries.
The intersection of New Bern Avenue and Farris Court was shut down for over four hours while the wreck was being cleared and investigated.
No details were available on the circumstances that led to the crash.
