Younce, Vtipil, Baznik & Banks, P.A., is pleased to announce a 2019 Scholarship Essay Contest to help some deserving young people in North Carolina with college expenses. Our attorneys understand the impact that education can have in changing lives and we want to help.
The personal injury and workers’ compensation law firm is sponsoring an essay contest that focuses on the topic of positive change. The winners will receive a total of $1,500 in prizes.
Younce, Vtipil, Baznik & Banks, P.A., seeks to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients and to make the communities we serve safer by focusing attention on issues of public safety.
Applicants are invited to submit an original 500-word essay on the following topic:
If you had the authority to change your community in a positive way, what specific changes would you make?
The 2019 contest is now open for submissions. The deadline for entering is April 1, 2019.
Two contest winners will be selected on or about April 15 based on the originality and merit of the essays. The 1st place winner will receive a check from the law firm for $1,000 to be used for college education expenses. The 2nd place winner will receive a check for $500 for education expenses.
The scholarships are available to North Carolina residents who are high school seniors and college undergraduates.
